The Board of Elections has 96 TSX machines that were purchased from Diebold Elections Systems with HAVA funds in 2005.  The Secretary of State acquired all of those 96 machines for Holmes County.  The Board plans to assign 88 of those voting machines.  The remaining 8 are in the following status:  2 upload/download machines, 2 waiting repairs, 4 available to replace compromised machines on Election Day.  The Board has chosen not to purchase or lease additional equipment due to current budget limitations, the Secretary’s report on Project EVEREST, and the availability of required Optical Scan ballots.  Select the following link to see the statistics and allocation for each precinct as issued by the Board on September 22, 2008:  Machine Allocation
